I have never read Sense and Sensibility but it is on my list to read. I saw this book and decided to give it a try since it is a modern day version. I was hooked from the beginning and vow that in the next year I will read the original version. I highly recommend this book for any book lover out there.
I read this book as part of the book club that Sharon McMahon (@sharonsaysso) hosts. I love a good mystery and can’t get enough of true crime tv shows, stories and podcasts. This book is the product of years of research done by Kate Winkler Dawson. This book is all about the man who literally created the Forensic Science protocols that we know today. It is such an interesting read and I highly recommend it for anyone who loves true crime stuff.
My dad turned me onto Aaron Stander when bought the first two books of this series in the Cherry Capitol Airport in Traverse City, Michigan. Stander is a local Michigan author and all of his novels are based there. If you love a great mystery with twists you should pick up one of these books. This is the most recent book released and it didn’t disappoint. I read the whole thing while I was waiting in the airport and on the plane ride home.
This is Elin Hilderbrand’ most recent book. I was hesitant to read it after the way that Sumer of ‘69 was written. This book goes back to Hilderbrand’s normal style and it did not disappoint. I couldn’t put it down and was sad when it came to and end. I will say this book had a twist that I didn’t see coming until the very end of the book. If you like Elin Hilderbrand this is a must read.
