I read this book as part of a book club and I loved it. I seriously could not put it down. This a a true story of what one woman went through and how she changed the laws for every woman in America. This is a MUST read!! I am still mind blown about how women were actually treated and just how powerless we were. I give this a 10/10 and highly recommend it to everyone.
I ended up loving this book and it was not what I expected. This story is about two sisters who have had a rough childhood and adult hood doesn’t seem to be much easier. This is a great beach read for those who are looking for one.
When I first started this book I thought it was going to be about aliens. I almost gave up but decided to give it a couple of chapters. It turns out to not be about aliens but a little girl who has run away. It was a good read and I am glad that I finished the book but I am not sure I would ever read it again.
